Participants: Colonel Thomas Fauntleroy and his expedition attacked a camp of about 60 Jicarillas. 

After nearly attacking the Pueblo hunters, the volunteers continued down the Chicosa Arroyo and ran into a camp of about 60 Jicarillas.  6 Indians and no volunteers were killed.
