Participants: Capt. James H. Carleton with 100 soldiers and James Quinn's battalion of irregulars attacked an Apache Camp of 22 lodges.

Capt. James H. Carleton with 100 soldiers and James Quinn's battalion of irregulars found an Apache camp.  The surprised Apaches fled while the soldiers destroyed 22 lodges.  3 Indians and no solders were killed.
