Use: Military

GPS  N: 47-27.

         W: 107-54.

Originally established on the Musselshell River, but it was abandoned.  Fort Musselshell was then rebuilt on the south bank of the Missouri River by the Montana Hide and Fur Company.  The Army arrived and occupied Camp Reeve until the new town was well established.
