Participants: General E A Carr in command of the 5th Cavalry chased a large village of Cheyennes

After discovering a Cheyenne village on the 13th, they chased the Indians and overtook them on Spring Creek.  Bu the time they reached Beaver Creek, they were forced to abandon much of their camp gear and got away.
